A shop launch in Bournemouth has started a new homeware and lifestyle movement. Homies is a new initiative started by The Syrup Room to make use of waste material and available technologies, design new products along the way.
The store itself has a natural unfinished style, with stone finish walls, exposed ceiling rafters, and raw concrete floors. This simple yet stylish fit out is contrasted by their sleek and modern interiors on offer. Each product in the store has been produced using innovative printing filaments, and industrial waste material. Homies also makes use of their 3d printing technology and distinctive filaments to live print products within their shop.
A visit to homies is one where you can see your own incense holder be printed before your eyes and pick up some unique accessories along the way. Ranging from mature bonsai trees, to incense holders, to tracksuits, the shop has a wide variety on offer. The flagship store in the u.K opens this spring. The team are leading the way globally in creating a new retail concept where products can be produced in store. By creating a product solution that requires no shipping the print files can be sent to new countries and created in new destination shops.
