An annual installation over the Christmas period, in one of the most famous UK train stations. The Syrup Room designed, fabricated, and installed this unique tree with under 5 weeks from start to finish. Made in the style of a pop up book, the unique style of this tree makes it an art piece as well as a festive icon. By using Finsa Greenpanel attached to a central steel column, the team could create this origami and paper craft inspired tree in a modular way, suitable for installation in a busy station environment. The team worked with innovative lighting solutions to provide a sound responsive system themed for ZSL, the 2021 St Pancras Christmas sponsor. Brief, graphics, and creative concept from Twelve Agency.
